Bonnie Marranca is co-founder/Editor of the arts publishing house PAJ and continues to edit PAJ: A Journal of Performance and Art (formerly titled Performing Arts Journal), which celebrated its 25th year in 2001. The triannual offers expanded coverage of performance, video, dance, drama, film, music, photography, installations, and new media. PAJ has also published numerous books on theatre and performance, including essays and more than 900 plays and performance texts, translated from 20 languages. PAJ received an Obie Award in 1983 for “Outstanding Achievement in the Off- and Off-Off Broadway Theatre.”

Bonnie Marranca is the author of two collections of essays, Ecologies of Theatre and Theatrewritings, and has edited several anthologies, including Conversations on Art and Performance, Interculturalism and Performance, Theatre of the Ridiculous Plays for the End of the Century, The Theatre of Images, American Dreams: The Imagination of Sam Shepard. She is a Guggenheim Fellow, Fulbright Senior Scholar, and winner of the George Jean Nathan Award for Dramatic Criticism. She has taught and lectured in numerous American and European universities and is the Anschutz Distinguished Fellow in American Studies at Princeton University for 2001. (all with Gautam Dasgupta);

At Location One Bonnie is director of Locution, a series of interviews with artists and writers in the performance community. In 2002, she is organizing a series of artist talks called PerformanceContemporary.
